This is just about the best band that I have ever heard……..and they sound like they are from the Blue Ridge Mountains rather then being an eclectic group of players and singers from Europe (mostly) and the ole North State. WOW…these guys need to be on the radio and bring Country BACK to Country Music .

Hi, *Can someone please forward a copy of this note to Patrick Shanahan for me? Patrick, A good buddy of mine recently purchased the Slingerland kit that you used with The Riders Of The Purple Sage. He is attempting to verify the provenance of the kit and he's hoping you can help. This is a link to a thread he started about the kit at the Vintage Drum Forum website: http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=41444 If you could check out the photos and let him know if that is in fact your old kit, it would make his year! We're all vintage drum loving drummers at the site, so your input will be most welcome. Thanks in advance for your time and help with this. John Velez (aka: 'Purdie Shuffle' at the forum)

I've known Marco for many years now and a more genuine and generous guy I've yet to meet. First saw these guys live July 2011, in Italy at Marco's daughters wedding. They were absolutely brilliant, both as people and musicians. When I first heard that PBB was being born I was very eager to hear their music, having heard Marco play on numerous occasions in the past. When I was privileged to hear their first PBB album tracks I was amazed at the musical standard and productions. They have gone from strength to strength since then. I await the release of PBB III which I know will be another high standard production. These guys just need a break to make it big time. Good luck, brothers, with your USA gigs in September. :)
