The Piedmont Brothers Band (PBB) bring their love of traditional Americana, Bluegrass and Country Rock, and mix in Celtic, New Orleans, and a bit of Gospel influence to produce music that reflects the variety of these influences, but is unified in the consistency and excellence of musicianship and quality of production. The last album, Piedmont Brothers Band III, released in September 2012, received very good reviews which can be seen in the Reviews page. And now, the newest album, Back to the Country, released September 2013, has been getting terrific reviews, and is getting Worldwide airplay already! In each of their albums you’ll hear original songs in all of the genres mentioned above, as well as classic Country Rock and Bluegrass covers. And on the PBB III and Back to the Country albums, the Band is joined by some of the Country Rock pioneers that made the music that inspired us all! Richie Furay (Buffalo Springfield, Poco), Rick Roberts (Flying Burrito Brothers, Firefall), Gene Parsons (Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers), Herb Pedersen (Emmylou Harris, Desert Rose Band), Jock Bartley (Gram Parson’s Fallen Angels, Firefall), Buddy Cage (NRPS, many session credits, including Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks) and Patrick Shanahan (Stone Canyon Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage) all lend their talents and combine with the PBB players/singers to produce some outstanding albums and a fantastic listening experience!!!
